(Yicai Global) Aug. 7 -- Huawei Technology's first television, the Honor Smart Screen, has racked up 100,000 pre-orders ahead of its Aug. 10 release, the telecoms equipment giant said on China's Twitter-like Weibo.

There will be two versions of the TV set, a regular edition and the Pro version. Each is 55 inches and will cost over CNY5,000 (USD710), according to Tencent's financial data platform Yixian.
