Nestlé to Sell Its China Bottled Water Business to Tsingtao Brewery(Yicai Global) Aug. 28 -- Nestlé will sell its drinking water business in China to the parent firm of the country’s second biggest brewery Tsingtao Brewery, the Swiss food and beverage giant said yesterday.
The Vaud-based firm will sell its stakes in Shanghai Nestle Drinking Water, Tianjin Nestle Natural Mineral Water and Yunnan Dashan Beverage to Qingdao, northeastern Shandong province-based Tsingtao Brewery Group, it said, without mentioning any prices.
Nestlé will continue to supply Chinese customers with its premier international water brands Perrier, San Pellegrino and Acqua Panna.
