(Yicai Global) Sept. 18 -- The countdown for the official opening of "Damara Village Physical Attractiveness Art Town," China's first web celebrity town, has started as it has already attracted more than 100 well-known web anchors from China and abroad to settle in.

Located in Huabohui scenic area in Wuhan, it covers an area of more than 2,200 mu (1 mu=0.0667 hectares) and is a European-style town that boasts original villages, flower fields, rivers, lakes and other resources, reported people.com.cn.

The construction of the facade of the web celebrity town has been completed, with the European-style church, wine cellar, and bell tower built. After its official opening in October 2017, the town will feature facilities suitable to the works of web celebrities, including an idol theater, a two-dimensional studio and a 'Lolita' experience museum, in an effort to become a fashionable landmark to attract young people through the web celebrity live-streaming culture.

The web celebrity town will also gradually construct a total of 100 direct broadcasting rooms for idol anchors, more than 200 characteristic web celebrity designer studios, more than 10 two-dimensional interactive storefronts, a web celebrity training platform for 2,000 people, and a fans' club.
