(Yicai Global) Feb. 20 -- Some 32 factories of Chinese home appliances maker Midea Group have restarted work, which is all except for one in the virus-hit Central Hubei province, China National Radio reported on its website today.

None of Midea's 83,000 employees who got back to work have been tested positive for Covid-19, the report added. The remaining Jingzhou plant is expected to kick off production again by the end of this month.

The Foshan-based company's shares [SHE:000333] climbed 2.3 percent to CNY54.75 (USD7.80) by 1.30 p.m.
