(Yicai Global) Sept. 29 -- Michael Dell, founder and chief executive of the American computer giant Dell Technologies Inc. [NYSE:DVMT], has visited China and said he will fulfill his commitment to long-term investment in the Chinese market and boosting development of China's innovation industry.

Dell arrived in China on Sept. 27, www.ce.cn reported and China's Vice Premier Wang Yang met with him. Dell also stopped by Tsinghua University, a top university in China located in Beijing's Zhongguancun high-tech corridor, to deliver a speech on innovative entrepreneurship and leadership.

China is a main part of the company's global strategy and it will seek to rouse the great potential of Chinese companies during the digital transformation with the most innovative technologies and advanced business concepts, Dell said.

The group will continue to implement the Dell China 4.0 Strategy by upping cooperation with the Chinese government and partners to contribute to China's digital transformation and industrial innovation and development, said Dr. Chenhong Huang, President of Dell Greater China.
