(Yicai Global) Nov. 14 -- China's medical big data platform 1M-Data has secured about CNY100 million (USD15.0 million) in its B-round financing through Shenzhen Guozhong Venture Capital Management Co. (GZVCM), the company said in a press briefing today.

1M-Data has long explored cures for such chronic diseases as cardio-cerebral vascular and respiratory disorders.

The firm aims to improve the working efficiency of hospitals and doctors through automated data entry collection and complex data calculation processing technologies. 1M-Data has collaborated previously with the National Health and Family Planning Commission and other institutions and offered specialized medical data services to more than 300 hospital departments in over 200 third-level grade-A hospitals nationwide.
