(Yicai Global) Nov. 2 -- Maserati (China) Automobile Trading Co. has filed a recall plan with China's product quality regulator and, as of Dec. 18, will recall imported Quattroporte series cars produced from June 27, 2014 to Feb. 15, 2017.
The recall involves 72 vehicles in mainland China, per company data.
The reason for the recall is that the model's fuel pump resistor may cause engine flameout and power interruption and thus pose potential safety hazards.
Maserati will replace the subject fuel pump resistor free of charge to eliminate the defect.
