(Yicai Global) Nov. 14 -- Lithium battery material producer Do-Fluoride Chemicals Co. [SHE:002407] (DFD) will cooperation with Chinese mini-electric vehicle manufacturer Zhidou Electric Vehicle Co.

DFD said yesterday that it formed a strategic framework agreement with Zhidou Electric Vehicle on the matter.

DFD said that it will invest in Zhidou Electric Vehicle and the specific proportion of the shares and relevant details will be determined in negotiations.

Zhidou Electric Vehicle will make DFD a preferred provider of battery assembly products, buying at least 40 percent of such goods from the latter, DFD said.

The electric vehicle firm will give DFD access to its battery operations data and transmit battery-related information to the battery firm in real time.

DFD and its affiliates will buy at least 10,000 new energy vehicles with DFD batteries from ZD every year.
