(Yicai Global) Feb. 27 -- Yicai Global recently visited Hongquan Road, known as 'Koreatown,' in Shanghai's southern Minhang district and Golden Avenue pedestrian street in Gubei New District in the city's west-central Changning district, which is heavily settled by Japanese, and recorded the life of these emigres in the city amid the novel coronavirus pneumonia.

A worker stood to be fumigated with a disinfectant atomizer at Shanghai Mart in the Hongqiao Economy Development Zone yesterday. Many employees of South Korean and Japanese companies work at the mart, according to its management company, which said the complex has been equipped with disinfectant atomizers and infrared temperature sensors for epidemic prevention and control.

Two people inquire about visas at the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Shanghai. Its staffers have placed thermometers and visa application instructions outside the delegation's gate.

A bilingual school in Koreatown has put up a marquee at the gate to inform parents about textbooks for their kids in the new semester.

Customers must submit to temperature checks, wear masks and jot down their names and phone numbers to enter the K Mart in South Korea Town.
