(Yicai Global) Aug. 15 -- Leshi Internet Information & Technology Corp.'s [SHE:300104] (LeTV) management has seen changes after the firm's founder Jia Yueting left the company. The new Chief Executive Liang Jun sent several internal emails today announcing the appointment of several execs, including the chief commercial officer and the chief technology officer.
Le Vision Pictures Ltd. Chairman Zhang Zhao will serve as LeTV's CCO to oversee strategies, production capability and member operations.
Zhang has a master's degree in filmmaking from New York University. He previously served in top positions at Shanghai Film Group Corp., Shanghai Viewpoint Communications Co. and Beijing Enlight Media Co. [SHE:300251]. Zhang founded Le Vision Pictures in 2011 and served as CEO and executive director.
Yuan Bin, who served as the president for global internet technology, the EUI operating system and artificial intelligence from last year, was appointed as CTO of LeTV's listed units to head product and technological development, research and planning for all subsidiaries. He previously served as vice president for technical products at iQiyi.com Inc. and head of technical products at Sohu Inc.'s [NASDAQ:SOHU] Olympics division. Yuan joined LeTV in 2012.
LeTV said Liu Shuqing, senior general manager at Sunac China Holdings Ltd.'s [HK:1918] risk management and control center, will plan human resources, legal and financial work and lead administration for LeTV's listed units' legal system.
LeTV also appointed several positions including vice president for intellectual property rights, general manager for strategy and operation and general manager for government affairs.
