(Yicai Global) Sept. 29 -- KuangChi Science Ltd. [HK:0439], a subsidiary of Shenzhen, Guangdong province-based metamaterial producer KuangChi Group, has entered into a strategic partnership with Huayu Group Co. to jointly develop aerospace equipment technology applications.

The pair will collaborate on aviation equipment and air rescue technology research covering the development and sales of police unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV), fire-fighting UAVs, anti-terrorism equipment and fire equipment per the agreement signed yesterday, said KuangChi Science.

The firm has developed advanced technologies and a team of fully-qualified professionals in the aerospace and smart equipment businesses, while Huayu Group boasts strong competitiveness and resources in the security product and service market, per the statement, which added that the pair will join forces in domestic and foreign market development leveraging their respective strengths.

Huayu Group is a major state-owned enterprise specializing in the fire prevention, security, genetic engineering, environmental protection and energy conservation fields.
