(Yicai Global) Sept. 15 -- China's online giants JD.com Inc. [NASDAQ:JD], Tencent Holdings Ltd. [HKG:0700], Baidu Inc. [NASDAQ:BIDU] and hundreds of other internet firms and equipment makers yesterday announced the formation of a smart audio industry alliance, Jiemian News reported.
JD.com also released its second-generation smart speaker, the DingDong 2.

The DingDong series of smart speakers has a market share of over 80 percent in China, JD.com said, and its updated Alpha Internet of Things center has connected well with other brands. DingDong 2 is the firm's seventh smart speaker product and the first that users can choose a name for.
JD.com's Alpha intelligent service platform provides one-stop smart solutions that can help traditional audio companies minimize the threshold for Internet of Things hardware development and research and development costs, and get their products on the market faster.
