(Yicai Global) March 15 -- Japanese multinational Nachi-Fujikoshi Corp. signed an exhibition participation contract with China International Import Expo Bureau, becoming the first contracted enterprise for participation in the Expo, Shanghai Observer reported.
Nachi-Fujikoshi is actively preparing for the first China International Import Expo and plans to bring its top-notch products and cutting-edge technologies to the event, said a company executive, adding Nachi is looking forward to achieving good transactions results at the event.
Nachi-Fujikoshi is a general manufacturer of industrial robots, machining systems and machine components. Its business in China mainly engages in industrial Nachi robots and relevant products used in the manufacturing industry. The company provides customers with large- and small-sized robots for various purposes such as automobile body-in-white, or BIW, welding, workpiece conveyance, ultra-large goods conveyance, and parts assembly.
So far, over 250 enterprises have signed letters of intent with China International Import Expo Bureau, expressing their intention to participate in the Expo. Under the procedures, these enterprises are required to sign formal participation contracts.
The first China International Import Expo is scheduled to be held from Nov. 5 to Nov. 10 in Shanghai. It's part of China's efforts to open up its market to the world.
