(Yicai Global) Nov. 13 -- Insurers performed the worst on Chinese mainland stock markets today, while Shanghai's main stock benchmark extended its decline in the afternoon and Shenzhen's growth shares rose.
Insurers dropped a combined 1.4 percent, closely followed by the shares of logistics and warehousing companies that lost 1.3 percent. Equities of electronic equipment makers climbed a collective 1.8 percent, leading the gains.
The Shanghai Composite Index closed 0.33 percent lower at 2,905.24. The ChiNext Price Index, which tracks Shenzhen-listed growth enterprises, advanced by 0.62 percent to 1,681.79. The Shenzhen Component Index edged down 0.18 percent to 9,687.85.
