(Yicai Global) July 26 -- In-fa, the sixth named of the Pacific typhoon season this year, made landfall at noon yesterday in Zhoushan, a coastal city in China’s Zhejiang province.
In-Fa brought high winds and heavy rains to Shanghai and neighboring Zhejiang and Jiangsu provinces, with wind speeds reaching as much as 38 meters a second at the center.
As of 10 p.m. yesterday, Shanghai had relocated 361,000 people to avoid any possible danger from flooding.
