(Yicai Global) July 1 -- Shanghai’s college leavers missed out on graduation ceremonies this year because of Covid-19, but an annual event to congratulate them on their success has gone ahead as scheduled at the Bund, the city’s famed riverfront promenade.

Bund Graduation Season is an event jointly organized by Shanghai Jiaotong University, Shanghai Tongji University, and five other universities in the city. This year’s salutation, the seventh, kicked off on June 29.
