(Yicai Global) Feb. 18 -- Team China’s freestyle skier Eileen Gu has secured her second gold medal at Beijing 2022, the first Winter Olympic Games that the 18-year-old has taken part in.
After taking gold in the women’s freeski big air and silver in the slopestyle, Gu won the women’s half-pipe skiing today.
Gu celebrates her victory draped in China’s national flag.
Gu wears a panda-shaped hat while receiving a limited-edition souvenir of Bing Dwen Dwen, the panda mascot of the Beijing Winter Olympic Games.
Gu performs a huge cork 900, complete with a tricky Buick grab, in her first run of the women’s half-pipe, scoring 93.25 points.
An open-mouthed Gu realizes she has won the competition.
