(Yicai) April 1 -- The Tourism Plus Shanghai exhibition has opened at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center, with the deep integration of 'robots + cultural tourism' taking center stage.
The five-day event that opened on March 30 covers the entire supply chain of dining, accommodation, transportation, sightseeing, shopping, and entertainment, turning it into a key platform for driving innovation and consumption upgrades in the cultural tourism sector. The exhibition area spreads 700,000 square meters, attracting more than 6,000 exhibitors.
Visitors can meet the robot dog of Chinese robotics startup Unitree Robotics at the expo, interact with the dancing and coffee-making androids of Qingbao Engine Robot, and try on Ossur Intelligence's exoskeleton for hiking and travel photography based on tech featured in popular domestic flick The Wandering Earth.
