(Yicai Global) Nov. 26 -- Subsidiaries owned by packaging producer Hycan Holdings have signed supply contracts with Chinese units under American energy giant Exxon Mobil.

The two agreements will last for five years and will see two Hycan arms make plastic bottles for the Texas-based client, the supplier said in a statement yesterday. The deals were between Exxon Mobil's units in Taicang, Jiangsu province and Tianjin municipality, and Hycan subsidiaries in the same cities.

Hycan said the contracts highlight its technological advantages in the plastic packaging field and expects to increase production over the next few years thanks to its enhance image.

The contracts are framework agreements and specify delivery dates, locations, models and the number of products -- other details will be defined by actual purchase orders, it added.

Exxonmobil Taicang Petroleum and Exxonmobil Tianjin Petroleum are wholly-owned by Exxon and focus on the production of lubricating oil and other petrochemical products.
