(Yicai) May 16 -- The artificial intelligence open-source community based on Huawei Technologies' AI computing infrastructure said pictures showing the functionality of a large language model were all generated in real-time by code and not manually arranged and pre-made as rumored.

The time.sleep (6) code means commands are waiting for reading images generated in real-time by an external open source LLM rather than taking pre-made images, the Ascend community told Yicai today. The pictures shown were generated in real-time by the open-source LLM, it added.

Rumors began circulating online after the time.sleep (6) code was seen during a presentation of an LLM's text-to-image generation capability at a Huawei conference on May 10. Industry insiders believe the code means "a manual control process from input to output lasting for six seconds," raising suspicions that the pictures were generated artificially and not by the LLM.

Codes presented at the conference are real and will be made public on Ascend, the community added.

The Ascend community enables developers to create AI applications that can run on specific hardware devices.
