(Yicai Global) Aug. 19 -- Huawei Technologies’ Matebook series, launched just four years ago, now accounts for 17 percent of China’s laptop market, Yu Chengdong, chief executive officer of the Chinese telecoms giant’s consumer business group, said today.
The Shenzhen-based firm released its latest model the Matebook X today. The new laptop only weighs one kilogram and is powered by the 10th generation Intel Core I7 processor and introduces a new generation of Wi-Fi technology, the Wi-FI6.
The MateBook X still uses US tech giant Microsoft’s Windows operating system, though, despite the US government’s increasingly stringent bans on US firms trading with Huawei
