(Yicai Global) May 24 -- Forbes has named Huawei as the only entrant on its list of the top 100 valuable brands globally for 2019. The Shenzhen-based communications giant came in at 97th with a brand value of USD8 billion.
Apple topped the list for the ninth straight year with a brand value of USD205.5 billion, a 12 percent increase over the previous year. This is also the first time that the brand value has exceeded the USD200 billion threshold.
Among the 100 brands, 56 are American, followed by Germany, France and Japan, with 11, seven and six, respectively.
