(Yicai Global) Feb. 22 -- A wholly-owned subsidiary of Beijing Highlander Digital Technology Co. will furnish 100 sets of offshore radar and application systems to a radar network contractor in a deal worth up to CNY75.5 million (USD12 million)

Sansha Highlander Marine Information Technology Co., the wholly-owned affiliate based in Sansha in the Xisha Islands of the South China Sea, has signed a procurement contract with Sanya Hailan Universe Marine Information Technology Co., the Beijing-based marine information service supplier said today.

Sansha Highlander will provide both software and hardware offshore radar systems, as well as after-sale and quality assurance services. The contract does not include optoelectronic devices, which it will later prepare per the client's specifications, per the statement.

As a marine information and data supplier, Sanya Hailan mainly builds offshore radar networks nationwide, purveying data and information operating services for its clients' maritime businesses. The company has thus far constructed offshore radar networks in Hainan, Shandong, Fujian and Guangdong provinces, the statement added.
