(Yicai Global) Dec. 26 -- A Tianjin-based wholly-owned subsidiary of Jiangsu Hagong Intelligent Robot Co. recently won the bid for an automated welding production line project.

The assembly line is for Beijing Changan Automobile Co., a subsidiary of Chongqing Changan Automobile Co. [SHE:000625], and its winning bid price was CNY112 million (USD17 million).

The company has received its win notice, but not yet signed a contract, the intelligent robot developer announced today.

The successful tender on the project, which will help consolidate the company's positioning in intelligent flexible automotive production lines, is expected to positively impact its operations next year and in 2019, per the announcement.
