(Yicai Global) Aug. 1 -- Harbin Jiuzhou Electric Co. [SHE:300040] is to undertake the construction of a wind power station in northwestern China's Shaanxi Province, serving as the general contractor. The contract value amounts to CNY438 million (USD65 million), equivalent to 33.19 percent of the company's operating income in 2016.
The company has signed a BT-model general contracting deal on the Dingbian Tianchitang Wind Farm with the Shaanxi-headquartered Dingbian Blue Sky New Energy Power Generation Co. The project is tentatively scheduled to be completed on Dec. 30, 2018, said the company in its filing yesterday.
Harbin Jiuzhou is to provide a full range of services from construction drawings design of the equipment to after-sales services following completion of the wind farm, the filing mentioned.
The implementation of the contract will lay a foundation for the company's transition into energy internet business and play an important positive role for its achievement of the 2017 annual business objectives, it said.
