(Yicai Global) Sept. 10 -- General Motors has appointed Harry Sze, who left his role as creative director at BMW last month, as the new director of design at its China Advanced Design Studio in Shanghai.
The studio is focused on helping realize GM's vision for transport by developing concept and new-energy vehicles for China and other markets, the auto titan said in a statement today. It is a key part of the firm's global design studio network and helps the firm explore advanced mobility solutions, it added.
The facility is undergoing an expansion and enhancing its capabilities with a strong pool of local talent, GM said.
