(Yicai Global) July 3 -- German motor-maker AMK Holding plans to invest USD12 million to start a unit in eastern China's Anhui province to meet the demand for new energy vehicle motors in the Asian country.
An increasing number of medium and high-end new energy vehicles are choosing AMK Holding's Airmatic air suspension system, which significantly slows down the decay process of battery modules, the Kirchheim unter Teck-based firm said in a statement.
Anhui-based auto parts manufacturer Zhongding Sealing Parts acquired AMK Holding for EUR130 million in 2016. The German motor brand's clients include Jaguar Land Rover, Volvo, Audi, Mercedes-Benz, and BMW.
