(Yicai Global) June 3 -- General Electric and Canature Health Technology Group, a Chinese firm specializing in water treatment, plan to join hands to set up a China and Southeast Asia joint venture.
The collaboration will combine both parties' technologies and experience to provide families and businesses in China and Southeast Asia with GE's entire range of water treatment products and services, Canature said in a statement today. It did not disclose who would control the new firm or how much each partner would invest.
Shares in Shanghai-based Canature [SHE:300272] closed down 1.03 percent today at CNY6.74 (98 US cents), sliding further than Shenzhen benchmark which slid 0.74 percent.
