(Yicai) Oct. 15 -- The 15th FutureChina Global Forum will aim to foster mutual understanding and explore collaborative opportunities as the world grapples with multipolarity and evolving geopolitical complexities.

The FCGF, themed "Strengthening Collaborations in a Multipolar World," will be held at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre in Singapore on Oct. 18. It will feature panel discussions and breakout sessions covering various topics, including regional economic cooperation, China's policy insights, geopolitical developments, and the impact of artificial intelligence on new business opportunities in Asia.

Organized by Business China, a non-profit organization dedicated to strengthening Singapore-China ties, and with Yicai Media Group as a media partner, the event is expected to draw more than 700 delegates, including government officials, academics, business leaders, and over 40 renowned speakers.

"At FCGF 2024, we are bringing together political and business leaders, along with domain experts from around the world, to help us find ways to seize opportunities and minimize risks," said Lee Yi Shyan, chairman of Business China. He also highlighted the forum's importance in navigating geopolitical and economic challenges.

Singapore's Senior Minister Lee Hsien Loong and Deputy Prime Minister Heng Swee Keat will attend the event as guests of honor. Notable speakers include Ray Dalio, founder of Bridgewater Associates, Bi Jingquan, chairman of China Centre for International Economic Exchanges, and Gita Wirjawan, chairman of Ancora Group and former trade minister of Indonesia.

Running concurrently with the main event, the Business China Youth Forum will focus on fostering future leaders in Singapore-China relations. Under the theme "Innovating for an Interconnected Tomorrow," it aims to encourage youth to drive global collaboration.

The FCGF was created by Business China Singapore in 2010 and provides an international platform for business leaders and experts worldwide to share their experiences and analysis of the new trends and forces driving China's evolution to become one of the world's largest economies, according to the firm's website.
