(Yicai Global) Sept. 5 -- Workers at Foxconn Technology Group's [TWE:2317] factory in Zhengzhou, in east-central China, have packed up the first batch of Apple Inc.'s [NASDAQ:AAPL] latest smartphone, the iPhone 8, in preparation for its release next week, TechWeb reported.
Foxconn Zhengzhou Science Park has begun to arrange the delivery of the phones to the US. The package has been well-packed to maintain confidentiality and the safety of goods.
Earlier reports said the iPhone 8 would have a full-screen OLED design, support fast and wireless charging and feature vertical dual rear cameras for virtual reality shooting.
