(Yicai Global) Nov. 13 -- Stefan Krause, the former chief financial officer (CFO) of Faraday & Future Inc. (FF), an auto company backed by Leshi Holdings (Beijing) Co. founder Jia Yueting, has refuted the company's charges of misconduct.

FF released an official statement on Chinese social media platform Weibo on Nov.11, immediately terminating Krause.

Krause made zero contribution to the company during his three-month stint, per the statement, and his actions rose to the level of misconduct and even illegality, thereby inflicting serious damage on the company and its investors.

Krause issued a rebuttal today, according to PR Newswire, revealing that he had already resigned from FF effective Oct. 14. FF's statement inaccurately depicted the circumstances of his departure, said Krause, who has retained legal counsel and will explore all available options. FF also terminated its chief technology officer, Ulrich Kranz, per the Weibo statement.
