(Yicai Global) Sept. 5 -- Ford Motor dismissed a report by Reuters today that it has nixed its plan to set up a National Distribution Services Division responsible for the marketing, sales and service of all the company's passenger vehicles sold in China.
It is carrying out the plan in an orderly manner, the firm said.
The Dearborn, Michigan-based auto maker announced its scheme in June last year to combine the sale divisions of Ford China, Changan Ford and Jiangling Ford, the last two being its joint ventures with Chinese partners.
