(Yicai Global) Sept. 26 -- The main part of Tesla's gigafactory in Shanghai's Lingang New Area has been completed, with the press, painting and assembly workshops all having reached production readiness, The Paper reported today.

The first Model 3 body-in-white had rolled off the assembly line, and the entire vehicle will go into mass production at the end of this year.
