(Yicai Global) Sept. 24 -- The first wave of user reviews is in following Apple's release of its iPhone 11 series.
The new line is the most rugged ever, according to tests, but it is liable to overheat, lose signal and suffer from other issues, some users claimed, Beijing-based news aggregator Toutiao reported.
The series' A13 processor generates excessive heat when running games or even idling, problems which become more pronounced during device activation and data backup, many users noted on China's Twitter-like Weibo.
Wang Xiaochuan, Sogou's chief executive, also complained on Weibo of malfunctioning cameras after upgrading the system to Apple's proprietary iOS 13 operating system.
The iPhone11 Pro still uses the Intel baseband, which is not as stable as Qualcomm's. Its reception underground and in other scenarios remains inferior to Huawei's but is better than the iPhone X series.
Cupertino, California-based Apple will release its iOS 13.1 today, it said, and this may iron out the glitches reflected in this user feedback.
