(Yicai Global) Oct. 23 -- The first display item of the 2nd China International Import Expo -- a 195 FSD high-speed patrol boat made by Italy's Ferretti -- trundled into the exhibition hall yesterday. With a mere 13 days to go in the countdown to the curtain raising, the CIIE has now entered its final preparation phase.

A total of four images have been selected

The first product to go on display, a Ferretti 195 FSD high-speed patrol boat, is wheeled into the main hall of the 2nd CIIE.

This hull of this craft, which has a total length of 20 meters, was split into two parts for transport into the venue in a procedure that took two cranes more than five hours to complete.

This image, provided by the exhibitor, shows the fast cutter at sea. This is the debut appearance of this speedboat in Asia, where it may find uses in search and rescue, maritime patrols and in anti-smuggling operations.
