(Yicai Global) Sept. 23 -- Zhang Qingsong, president of Export-Import Bank of China, will leave his position to fill the same role at Agricultural Bank of China, which has not had a president in almost a year, according to a Securities Times report.
The 54-year-old has been leading Export-Import Bank since August 2018. He graduated from the central bank's grad school with a master's degree in economics in 1990, after which he worked for Bank of China for 28 years.
ABC's former President Zhao Huan resigned in October 2018 to become chairman of the China Development Bank. His previous employer made over CNY121 billion (USD17 billion) in net profit during the first half of this year, up 4.9 percent as operating income climbed nearly 5.4 percent to more than CNY324 billion.
