(Yicai Global) Sept. 22 -- The expats club Shanghai Through Our Eyes celebrated China's mid-autumn festival at the grand ballroom in the Jing’an Kunlun Hotel yesterday. Members and their families all participated in the event, as some of them played violin and tried on different costumes from Kunqu Opera, sharing Shanghai's charm and beauty with the world.
Some members attending the event were also involved in the making of “Shanghai Through Our Eyes,” a short video series produced in June, which gathers witnesses of 100 foreigners from over 30 countries living in Shanghai.
Mooncakes and other traditional snacks were a must in the menu, while Chinese folk art such as sugar figure blowing and sugar painting won the hearts of many.
