(Yicai) Dec. 16 -- Chinese corporate sentiment has received a boost after the government last week promised new measures to stimulate consumption next year, according to business leaders.

Executives interviewed by Yicai expressed renewed confidence in the future of China's consumer market and pledged to drive high-quality consumption through innovation.

The Central Economic Work Conference, which sets the national economic agenda for the year ahead, identified nine key tasks for 2025. Actively boosting consumption, improving investment efficiency, and comprehensively expanding domestic demand were chief among them.

Ye Guofu, chief executive officer and chairman of lifestyle retailer Miniso, said he is confident in China's consumer market next year. There should be an active response to the conference's spirit, he noted, adding firms bear the full responsibility to support and cooperate with the country to improve consumption and enhance its capability, promoting high-quality development through high-quality consumption.

The conference specified the direction for high-quality development of the Chinese economy and provided a broad growth outlook for catering firms, noted Zhou Zhaocheng, vice chairman and executive director of hotpot chain Haidilao International Holding. The company has complete confidence in its operations and development for next year, he added.

The implementation of China's initiatives to boost consumption and expand domestic demand in an all-around manner will significantly benefit tourism development next year, said Zhou Weihong, vice general manager of travel agency Spring Tour.

As a leader in the tourism sector, Spring Tour strives to enrich the variety of products and make prices more competitive to stimulate residents' willingness to travel, enhance tourists' comprehensive consumption level, and better promote local economic development, Zhou pointed out.

Hotel management firm H World Group will actively implement the conference's spirit, expanding service consumption via product, tech, and model innovation, according to CEO Jin Hui. The company remains confident that it can achieve stable and resilient development with a series of favorable policies, he added.
