(Yicai Global) Sept. 10 -- Chinese mainland stock markets ended a volatile day down and manufacturers of electronics dropped while pharmaceutical firms rose.
The Shanghai Composite Index pared 0.12 percent to finish at 3,021.20. The Shenzhen Component Index declined 0.37 percent to 9,964.93. The ChiNext Price Index, which tracks growth enterprises listed in Shenzhen, slid 0.46 percent to 1,725.31.
Drug companies gained 1.4 percent and shares related to electronics manufacturing dropped 1.9 percent.
