(Yicai Global) Oct. 26 -- China's ride-hailing platform Didi Chuxing, operated by Beijing Xiaoju Technology Co., could soon roll out its services in the Russian market, Sputnik News cited Kirill Dmitriev, chief executive at the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), as saying at a forum on future investment plans in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia yesterday.
The Russia-China Investment Fund (RCIF), jointly established by the RDIF and China Investment Corp., became an investor in Didi in November last year, though the exact investment value was not specified.
"Sovereign funds have multiple opportunities to invest in technology such as Didi, and we expect Didi to enter the Russian market soon," Dmitriev said.
