(Yicai Global) June 12 -- A sports brokerage firm owned by Chinese media producer DDMC Culture has won an eight-year tender to broadcast the Asian Football Confederation's matches in China's mainland.

The events included in the agreement spanning from 2021 to 2028 are the AFC Asian Cup, FIFA World Cup Asian qualifiers, the AFC Champions League, and the Football Association Challenge Cup, said the Contemporary Mingcheng Sports International.

The Wuhan province-based sports broker is the exclusive Asian sales agent for the upcoming FIFA World Cup in Russia and has previously obtained China's mainland broadcasting rights for English Premier League, Spanish La Liga, as well as the Paris Saint-Germain Football Club in the mainland and in Hong Kong.
