(Yicai Global) May 13 -- Daimler's supplier of auto parts and components in China has tapped a local firm to provide road transport and warehousing of dangerous goods.
Chinese logistics player Milkyway Chemical Supply Chain Service will earn CNY116 million (USD16.9 million) over three years under the deal from Beijing-based Daimler Northeast Asia Parts Trading and Services, the Shanghai-based firm said in a statement.
Milkyway's two wholly-owned subsidiaries have inked agreements on road transport and warehousing services with Shanghai-based logistics services agent ADP.
The subsidiary responsible for transport will complete road transporting of dangerous parts and components via containers or delivery vans, while the warehousing unit will offer 7, 654 square meters of space.
