(Yicai Global) Feb. 3 -- Samsung's flagship experience store in Shanghai announced a temporary closure today.

Starting yesterday, the venue is idling until Feb. 9, per the latest recommendations of health experts, the retail outlet said on the popular WeChat messaging app.

The showroom is China's largest top-level offline experience store. 

Samsung rival Apple will also temporarily suspend its shops' operations from Feb. 1 to Feb. 9 out of public health and epidemic prevention considerations, it announced.
