(Yicai Global) July 2 -- China has started pre-registrations from companies early for the 2019 China International Import Expo in response to much interest in the event.

"Applications have been beyond our expectations," said one of the organizers.

China will hold the first CIIE in early November in Shanghai and registration for the event is already over. The expo is an important event for the Chinese government to further open up the domestic market and boost trade with the rest of the world.

Enterprises interested in taking part can log in on the CIIE Bureau's official website and fill in form.
