Chinese Stocks Surge as Securities, Property Shares Rally(Yicai Global) Oct. 24 -- Chinese stock markets reversed early losses in late trading as securities and property shares rallied. All three main stock market indices went up, with the Growth Enterprise Index breaking through 1,900 points.
The Shanghai Composite Index rose 0.22 percent to close at 3,388.25 points in late trading, with turnover of CNY178.6 billion (USD26.9 billion).
The Shenzhen Component Index was 0.29 percent firmer at 11,339.13 points, turning over CNY228.6 billion.
The Growth Enterprise Index surged 0.15 percent to 1,901.69 points, with CNY64.9 billion swapped.
