Yicai Global) Nov. 02 -- China's stock markets extended losses in afternoon trading, with the Growth Enterprise Index, mostly comprising small-cap companies, falling to a one-month nadir following heavy selling pressure.
The Shanghai Composite Index was down 0.37 percent to close at 3,383.31 points. Turnover was CNY210.0 billion(USD 31.72 billion), compared with yesterday's CNY232.0 billion.
The Shenzhen Component Index was down 0.51 percent at 11,292.42 points, with CNY260.1 billion swapped, compared with yesterday's CNY249.9 billion.
The Growth Enterprise Index was down 1.34 percent at 1,847.57 points, the lowest closing point in the past month, with CNY74.86 billion changing hands, also up on yesterday's CNY72.5 billion.
