(Yicai Global) Sept. 27 -- China's stock markets closed up this afternoon. Falling financial shares checked gains on the Shanghai bourse even as technology shares soared to boost Shenzhen.
The Shenzhen Component rose 0.83 percent to 9,548.96, but the week's overall decline was 3.36 percent. The ChiNext Price Index advanced 1.46 percent to 1,647.53 today but slid a cumulative 3.37 percent over the course of the week. The Shanghai Composite Index inched up 0.11 percent to 2,932.17 in the afternoon but registered a 2.47 percent drop during the whole week.
Technology shares rose over 3 percent, while financial stocks fell 0.2 percent.
