(Yicai Global) Sept. 2 -- Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange inked a memorandum with the Moscow Exchange yesterday to bolster their exchanges and cooperation in futures and relevant derivatives, the Chinese bourse announced on its official account on China's popular WeChat messaging app.

The Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange also renewed memorandums with various specialty Indian exchanges at the 2019 China (Zhengzhou) International Futures Forum held yesterday in the capital of China's central Henan province. The bourse has thus far penned memorandums with 18 overseas counterparts.

Zhengzhou is China's first futures board, and contracts for food, cotton, oil, sugar, fruits, energy , chemical products, textiles, metals, building materials and many other commodities key to the domestic economy trade on it.

One of the world's leading exchanges, the Moscow bourse is a mainstay of European capital markets.
