(Yicai Global) Oct. 16 -- A Chinese Navy ocean-going fleet comprising the Changchun Missile Destroyer, Jingzhou Missile Destroyer and Chaohu Auxiliary Oiler-Replenishment Ship, has returned to the Zhoushan naval harbor in China's eastern Zhejiang province, the navy said through its official WeChat account yesterday.
The fleet has completed a 176-day visit covering more than 31,000 nautical miles over two oceans and three continents, setting several new records in Chinese naval history.
The ships passed through the Pacific and Indian Oceans and the Red and Mediterranean Seas, as well as 26 international straits or waterways, including Strait of Malacca and Suez Canal, after setting off on April 23. The fleet also visited 20 countries in Asia, Africa and Europe.
