(Yicai Global) Nov. 1 -- Beijing Misspao Technology Ltd., a shared mini-gym operator that completed its series A round of financing last month, said it has merged with Daka Sports, which focuses on the research and development of sports products and is owned by Nanjing Dookee Network Technology Co. Misspao will lead the merged company in pursuing the shared mini-gym market.

Misspao will take over more than 200 of Daka Sports' community projects in its first step to expand its presence with the aim of optimizing user experience and strengthening its lead in the sector, Misspao founder Bi Zhen said. The merged company will retain the Misspao brand, Pintu360 reported. Bi will serve as the company's chief executive, while Daka's founder will be its product head.

Misspao, which makes shared smart mini-gyms, has raised USD15.15 million (CNY100 million) and plans to roll out its services in 10 cities before the Spring Festival.

Daka Sports, which also makes shared mini-gyms, focuses on the development, design and manufacturing of sports products as well as supply chains, Misspao said.
